About Us

Our aim is to encourage First 31.7 sailing in Finland, both on the race track as well as recreational sailing. Even when racing, the  focus is on the social aspects and raising the spirit of our enthusiastic and growing group. In addition to sailing events, we organize social events.

The first sailing event in Finland with First 31.7 was at Hanko Regatta in 2006, where the First 31.7 trophy was presented for the first time. Ten crews met at the Helsinki Boat Show on 9.2.2008 and founded the Finnish class association. The open Finnish First 31.7 racing series of 2009 gathered 13 crews to compete in fun one design races.

There are currently almost 30 crews on our mailing list. If you sail or own a 31.7 in Finland, Estonia, Sweden or other region close by and are new to us, we encourage to take contact. As most of the information on this site is only in Finnish due to practical reasons, due not hesitate to contact us via email in anything relating to sailing a First 31.7.
